The mean age of Brazilian students taking the GMAT is about 29. Brazil's test-taker profile is impressive, but selective business schools in the United States and other countries do not typically admit students with GMAT scores under 600, and the most elite programs expect GMAT scores of at least 700. Meet a Rio de Janeiro GMAT Tutor: Claude L.
Claude L., a native of Montreal, Canada, completed his undergraduate studies in economics at Georgetown University. He then earned a master of business administration at the University of Virginia's Darden School of Business. He is a part-time GMAT teacher and a mid-level executive at an international pharmaceutical company, which relocated him to Rio de Janeiro last year.
Claude has a total of nine years of GMAT teaching experience in a variety of learning formats, from on-site and online to group courses and individual tutoring. In his teaching, Claude strives to emphasize the relevance of GMAT skills to business careers. "One reason that I teach the GMAT is to keep my business skills at their highest possible level," he says.
